Dayle who has Jamaican and ST Lucian Roots became a musician under the name Day Day in his teenage years, and has had a very eventful Career to date. In 2008 Day Day displayed his undeniable talent when he won the 'Broken Silence' Competition in Brent town Hall in Wembley. Apart from this Day Day has also performed in a number of charity events including the 'under one sky' festival which is an annual summer event held in Harrow. Day Day is also now working on mixing and mastering a mix-tape for an up and coming artist known as D.I. This side of the music also comes relatively easy to him as he has previously worked on the production of music for UK artists Dot Star and Sway. Add this to the fact that he is a qualified sound engineer that has worked in many studios, is the C.E.O of Bigger Dreams Entertainment and is currently studying 'Broadcasting media and technology design' in university, we should expect to see alot more from Day Day in front of and behind the camera in the future.

MANiC FT S.K - #PAPERCHASE
In this post we are looking at a video from an up and coming rapper in the UK scene, named Manic. In this video named Paperchase, Manic uses his Rap to release to document struggles he and much of his audience face on a day to day basis, trying to make that money. This is one of the better videos we have seen coming out of the UK scene lately, and we expect big things in the future from this young artist.

JRU - JERKS R US
JerksRUs (JRU) are an up and coming Jerking and Rapping group who are currently making a big mark on the UK music and dance scene with their skills. The group of teenagers have performed at big events for hundreds of people and are looking to grow even bigger in the up and coming year. Their journey began in April when they saw the video 'Your a Jerk' by the New Boyz and thought they could represent the UK in the same way. They started off as a group of 9 but have now reduced to a group of 3: Clayton, David and Mahan (camera-man). They take charge of creating their own songs, videos and the editing of their media. So far they've been noticed by a host of UK based artists. They've taken such a fresh art form and converted it into a unique and inspiring style of their own. Watch out for JRU in the future!

KATE NASH
Irish-Born Singer/Songwriter Kate Nash broke onto the UK music scene in 2007 with her amazing single 'Foundations' and in fact her entire album 'Made of Bricks' that left us mesmerized. Kate's unique style of Indie Pop/Rock is incredibly close to home yet courageous as she explores topics that we are too afraid to mention. She is also a very talented instrumentalist; she plays the keyboard, guitar and the drums. Shes come a long way from being a girl growing up in North-West London to becoming a musical sensation - her story is inspiring to us all.

Sean Jones (born 16th February 1990) better known by his musical Alias (Jones 2.0, is a rapper from London, England. He is known to have a unique talent when it comes to wordplay. His first mix-tape of 2010 which was released in the first quarter of the year, 'The re-education'mix-tape saw Jones burst onto the scene as a very promising talent. Although he had already dropped another mixtape by this time (bookey season), it would be the release or re-education that saw Jones recognised as a potential force in the industry.By the time he dropped 'Playing with words' in the middle of the same year it was evident that he had the work rate to go with his ability. Jones 3rd mix-tape of 2010 entitled 'Black Mask' was released 5th December 2010, and it has been called his best to date. When asked what his future ambitions were for his musical career he responds 'to dominate the industry.' The arrogance of his response shows the confidence he has in his ability and bodes well for his future in the uk music scene

KANO - Grime Inspires!
East Hams very own Kano who is an incredibly multi-talented person broke onto the UK music scene in 2004 with his song P's & Q's. Before his career took off he studied graphic design, played for Chelsea F.C. and was even approached by Hugo Boss to do modelling. However he knew that his destiny lay in Grime. Hit tracks like 'Brown Eyes', 'Nite Nite', 'Typical Me' and 'This is the Girl' are still played on radio even though they were released a while ago. He's released 4 albums to date, but we hope to see this artist evolve in the near future. Legendary American artists such as Jay-Z, Nas, Andre 3000 and Public Enemy have expressed deep interest in the Grime artist and the quality of his music, his ability to rap about the streets then about love shows his diversity. Diversity which is inspiring to us all!

Erykah Badu - Queen of Neo Soul
We at Right 2 Inspire would like to honor Miss Erykah Badu tonight! Her music blends Soul, Jazz and R'n'b to form such a distinct sound that we can only associate with her greatness. Her trademark headscarf's have become iconic and a statement of how proud she is to be an African American woman in today's society. Her music especially encourages women to be liberated, to remember their 'roots', whilst getting rid of the 'weeds' that constrain them in every day life. The context of her music ranges from close and personal, to political and philosophical.
The video above entitled 'Window Seat' has been called controversial by the press but we think its deeply influential and artistic. Erykah strips and is murdered on the same spot that JFK was assassinated. This kind of freedom of thought should be encouraged especially in U.S.A ("The Land of The Free").
She has inspired many artists and many people by her unique style, perspective and personality. She is a living legend as her music is poetic, artistic and most of all INSPIRING.
